Neuschwanstein Castle: A Spectacular Sight in Germany

The beauty of the Neuschwanstein Castle is indescribable. Nestled on a hill in the pristine lands of Hohenschwangau, construction of the castle started on 5th September 1869 and was completed in 1886. The palace is based in the Alps and is a magnificent sight to see. If you are visiting Germany, you must add this castle to your itinerary.
King Ludwig the Second of Bavaria paid for this castle to be created. The palace is in the Romanesque Revival style, which was a popular form in the mid-1800s. Today, the castle has about 1.5 million people who traipse through its halls every year, visiting from all over the world. Some tours are conducted so that you can view both the exteriors and interiors of the castle.
